Role Overview:

We're in search of a seasoned Manufacturing Manager to join our team. This role involves overseeing daily manufacturing operations, coordinating activities, and ensuring organizational goals are consistently met or surpassed. Successful candidates will demonstrate strategic thinking, exceptional time management, a commitment to professionalism, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance production yields to maximize efficiency and meet or exceed production targets.
• Provide monthly reports on manufacturing expenditures and gross margins to the General Manager.
• Monitor operation and maintenance expenses, identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or uptime.
• Maintain 100% on-time shipment rate and optimal production flow by providing recommendations for process improvement.
• Collaborate with quality control to ensure product consistency and quality for both internal and external customers.
• Facilitate communication with Outside and Inside Sales teams regarding machine capacity, availability, and constraints.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and on-time delivery within the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing; bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in implementing Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, and Transactional Lean methodologies.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Office suite for data organization and analysis.
• Familiarity with budgeting, expense management, and basic financial accounting principles.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, including decision-making, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong background in running mills and roll forming, strongly preferred.
